As an elite bomb squad, you must defuse the bomb before it destroys the neighborhood, and unmask this Mastermind before he/she/they wreaks any more havoc!

Alley Wars 2.0 : Turkish Market
An all-new competitive or cooperative scenario. Work together or split into two teams and race against each other in two adjacent market shops.
Bio:
It started out as a sightseeing trip to Turkey,
then something went wrong!
Now, you and your friends are caught in a deadly
game of sabotage and deceit. You must enter the busiest market strip in Istanbul to find the coveted “Turkish Delight.”
Finding it will be hard; taking it will be nearly impossible!

Groups of 4 or more can be split into 2 competing teams, as the room
is split into two symmetrical halves by a fence/barricade. You can see and hear your opponents, and sabotage each other.
Smaller teams (4 or less people) can do the room cooperatively using one side of the room. It is the same game, without opponents or sabotage. Either way, the room looks and feels awesome!

Egyptian Escape: Lost in Time
Bio:
A well known Egyptian archaeologist has disappeared from his own dig site. There is great concern of foul play, but locals fear something much worse. You and your associates are needed to discover the truth, without disappearing yourself!

Our Escape Creators
It’s obvious now looking back that the Banda brothers were destined to create escape rooms for others to enjoy. The haunted forts to scare their sisters, the secret room above the kitchen unknown to mom and dad, the tree fort in the town park equipped with secret doors, underground tunnels and traps for unwelcome intruders, all were signs of what was to come. Partnering with a good friend and businessman, they have combined their expertise in hopes to bring you all the best in escape room experiences.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Adult (age 18+) $25 + GST
Youth (age 12 – 17) $20 +GST

a team of 1 parent and 1 child would cost $52.50,

WHY IS THERE GST ON YOUR GIFT CARDS?
Since tax applies to admission for our escape experiences, and most people want to give the gift of the experience and not just a dollar amount, we ask the giver rather than the receiver of the gift card to pay the GST. The tax is included up front in the price of the card so that it is not charged a second time during redemption.
(Please note: if you purchased/received a gift card before December 10, 2019, please call us to arrange your booking, and do not book online. We had not yet found a problem in which the computer charged GST separately, and so to avoid the system charging the GST again upon redemption, we need to manually enter your voucher code).

HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM?
You can book online or by phone with minimum 2 hours notice. We accept Mastercard or Visa online.
To book by phone, please have your credit card ready for us to reserve your appointment.

ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS PRIVATE?
Yes! Our escape rooms are private. This means that you will never be paired with strangers.
THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE HAVE CHANGED?
No problem! Extra players (up to the maximum room capacity) can be added online or they can pay upon arrival. To change your booking online – until midnight the day before – click on the VIEW/EDIT link in the confirmation email. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your SPAM email folder. If you have any issues, or for same day changes to your booking, please contact us.
If you wish to bring additional guests that were not part of the initial booking, you only need to contact us if they will cause your group to exceed the recommended room maximum. Otherwise, they can just show up and we will receive payment for them in person before your game starts. Please be sure to mention any extra participants to a staff member upon arrival.
CAN WE EXCEED THE ROOM CAPACITY?
Each room’s maximum group size is based upon recommended comfort and participation levels. We can sometimes make exceptions, but our desire is for every player to feel they were part of solving the room.
If you wish to bring additional guests that were not part of the initial booking, you only need to contact us if they will cause your group to exceed the recommended room maximum. Otherwise, they can just show up and we will receive payment for them in person before your game starts. Please be sure to mention any extra participants to a staff member upon arrival.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
Underground Escape is a family friendly facility, and each room is designed with that in mind.
Children under 12 years of age can play our escape rooms but must have at least one adult (18+) present in the group. A parent or guardian must complete the waiver on each child’s behalf beforehand. This can be done online or in person.
Youth 12 to 17 years of age can play our escape rooms on their own without adult accompaniment. To book a room for a group of youth with no adult, please call us. A parent or guardian must also complete the waiver on each young person’s behalf beforehand.
Bookings must be made by someone 18 years or older, so please call us to arrange a booking that does not include adults.
DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
We ask that you book at least 2 hours in advance.
Walk-ins usually do not work well because we run on a per-booking basis, and not all of our staff live in the building (actually none do 🙂 ). Even if someone is here, we may also need to call another staff member in to run your room. This requires a decent amount of notice. Please make an appointment online, or call within business hours if you have just missed the 2 hour cutoff time online.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY CONFIRMATION NUMBER?
No, you do not need to bring your confirmation email but please bring your ID with you so that we can confirm your booking.
WHEN SHOULD WE SHOW UP?
To help avoid crowding in the lobby and stairway, please try not to show up any earlier than 5 minutes prior to your booking start time.
WHAT IF OUR TEAM ARRIVES LATE?
We need to have the escape rooms cleaned and ready to start on time for future bookings throughout the day. Please call us if you will be later than your booking start time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your start time, we may need to re-schedule your booking or reduce your group’s time in the escape room.
If you are the one unlucky latecomer of a group booking, your group may be sent in without you, and you can join them when you arrive.
BOOKING CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations — The Day Before:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your booking start time are eligible for a credit towards your next escape, or a full refund. Credits and refunds can be handled by email or phone during business hours.
No online refunds are available through our booking system, so they must be arranged by a manager. Refunds may take several days to process.
Same Day or No shows:
A booking is considered a no-show if we aren’t notified about a booking cancellation at least 1 hour prior to the start of the booking. No refunds or credit will be given for no shows.
Same day cancellations with more than 1 hour’s notice are eligible for an Underground Escape credit. No refunds will be issued for same day cancellations.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY BOOKING?
Changes to your booking can be made until midnight the day before by clicking on the EDIT link in the confirmation email.

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
DO YOU DO TEAM BUILDING?
We consider escape rooms to be an excellent team-building or staff party activity! We can accomodate large group events using multiple escape rooms at once. Please contact us for large group bookings.
There is opportunity for a quick debrief with teams after the escape scenario ends, but we otherwise operate on a normal schedule with other bookings running as usual before and after corporate events. To be clear, this means that we do not offer an extended workshop approach to team building; simply the escape scenario with briefing and debriefing, which is usually plenty for the team to chew on.
HOW ABOUT CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAYS?
We can customize some rooms to fit the age group.
Our lobby needs to remain clear for other teams to enter and exit, and we do not have a space for hosting cake/gifts/etc. All we can offer is a SUPER fun escape adventure!
GENERAL QUESTIONS
ARE THERE POP-OUT SCARES?
No, it is our policy not to do any intense pop-out scares in the escape rooms. That being said, some aspects of our rooms may startle some players.
ARE THE ROOMS DARK?
As with most escape rooms, some of our rooms have dark environments. Please contact us for specific questions about our escape rooms if you have any concerns.
ARE THERE STROBE LIGHTS?
There are no strobe light effects in any of our escape rooms.
HOW MANY TEAMS ESCAPE?
This varies by room and the difficulty level played.
99% of our teams have a great time, even if they don’t finish.
CAN WE GET A HINT IF WE ARE STUCK?
Yes! Each room has an integrated hint system that fits the room’s specific theme. Team progress is monitored by a staff member using cameras and microphones. We have an unlimited hint system to help players get through each room, and to play at whatever level of competitiveness they like.
ARE YOU WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
At this time, unfortunately, we are down a full flight of stairs with no elevator.
DO YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS CHANGE?
Yes, we are always creating new escape adventures and puzzles. Most escape room themes are changed periodically. Check the room profile to find out the last time it was updated.
WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER?
First of all, our rooms are safe! We make the safety and well-being of all participants our priority above all else.
Secondly, our building owners are smart, and require all escape room guests to sign a waiver as a release of liability.
Please note that although part of the waiver is about the closed circuit cameras in our facility, we do not use customer photos or videos in our marketing except with permission from the participants.
Some guests seem alarmed when asked to sign a waiver, but this is usually because they have never been in an escape room, or because they do not understand how safe our rooms actually are.
If you have never done an escape room before and you are wondering whether you will perform death-defying stunts or have to fight off live crocodiles in our rooms, the answer is no, you won’t.
We ask that guests take the time to read the waiver so as to understand the potential risks – however low they may be – that they are agreeing to before participating. You can read the waiver by clicking any of the SIGN THE WAIVER buttons on our site.
